Yes it has supports you can drill on the outside of the wall to keep it from sliding out but all you have to do is put one screw into the window after you close it to the top of this AC unit and it's not going anywhere , unless you want to give it the spartan kick!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I reside in a 4th floor walkup and Indeed the unit is heavy but it comes with two brackets in which need to be drilled in each corner. I also purchased the support bracket which perfectly held the ac in place. The person whom installed it took the frame off the ac, drilled all the necessary parts and then placed the ac in the frame and it is perfectly secure in my window.
