It came with two mounts but my handyman did not feel they were sufficient to put through an old door that was not being used. Since you are putting it through a window it might be different. He bought some wood to make a bottom open "shelf" for the unit to rest on and got bigger brackets. The unit is very secure. He also did not install it straight up but tilted it back a bit so the water condensation would flow out
