“We have a 400 sq foot finished bonus room over garage. Will this unit be sufficient? We live in VA where the hottest days are about 92. But mostly in mid to high 80's.”

Yes very much so I live in New Jersey high humidity and very hot and it cools off my entire house the AC with my two ceiling fans one in the kitchen one in the living room very good unit just set your temperature put on the energy saver when it gets to that temperature it will shut off

A 2nd. floor is harder to cool due to the closeness to the roof, However the 15,100 BTU A/C probably will only have to run @ less than full capacity to keep the area cool, & if that area is insulated then that's even better.

Yes it will more than big enuff may want to look a size small so the compressor does cycle off and on continual
