Q: QuestionI need a measurement please. Thank you! if you push this up against a wall, how much "depth" do I need to account for when the door swings fully open? for ex: the door is probably 34" wide, so 34"... plus the depth of the unit - so 63"?

• A:Answer Hi Ryebread! When installing freezer adjacent to wall, cabinet or other appliance that extends beyond front edge of unit, 20" minimum clearance recommended to allow for optimum 140° door swing, providing complete basket access and removal. (Absolute 3" minimum clearance will ONLY allow for 90° door swing which will provide limited basket access with restricted removal.) Hope this helps! -Thanks!-

Q: QuestionI have had this new Frigidaire for about a month now. For the 1st few weeks the freezer made little to no noise at all. Now, after the door is closed, there is a gargling noise that happens for about 5 secs. Sounds like water going down a drain. Normal???

• A:Answer yes, but the delivery men do not recommend it, because the magnetic seals will have a hard time lining up. At least that's what they told us. Go to the Frigidaire website & they have all the dimensions with pics of how to measure.

• A:Answer I have one of those small exterior doors as well. The narrow side is only 29" wide so should not be a problem. Had to remove brackets for screen door but got it in on the first try with no dings in the woodwork.
