- Answer Good day, George! To replace the water and air filters in your Frigidaire 18 Cu. Ft. Counter-Depth French Door Refrigerator (model FRFG1723AV), follow these steps: Replacing the Water Filter Locate the Filter: Open the refrigerator compartment. The water filter is positioned at the top left corner. Remove the Old Filter: Gently twist the old filter counterclockwise to release it. Install the New Filter: Take the new filter and align it with the compartment. Insert it and twist clockwise until it locks into place. Reset the Indicator: Press and hold the Reset Water Filter button on the display panel for 3 seconds. The red indicator light should turn off, confirming the reset. Replacing the Air Filter Access the Air Filter Compartment: Open the refrigerator door and locate the air filter compartment, typically found at the top rear of the fresh food section. Remove the Old Filter: Open the compartment cover and slide out the old air filter. Install the New Filter: Insert the new filter into the compartment, ensuring it fits snugly. Reset the Indicator: Press and hold the Reset Air Filter button on the display panel for 3 seconds. The red indicator light should turn off, confirming the reset. QuestionHow much space do I need in order for the doors to open properly , I recently had an issue with another fridge where the doors didn't open all the way one of them hit the wall, I have a 34inch space will this be enough ?

- Answer I also have a 34" space and I have plenty of room to open the doors and walk around them. The doors open to 15", so there is no problem.

- Answer Hi J! I couldn't find the exact measurement from the bottom of the Frigidaire FRFG1723AV refrigerator to the top of the freezer compartment in the available specifications. However, the refrigerator's overall height is 67 9/10 inches (approximately 172.5 cm) with hinges included. Typically, in French door refrigerators like this model, the freezer compartment is located at the bottom, and the fresh food section is above it. Given the total height, it's reasonable to estimate that the freezer compartment starts within the lower 20 to 30 inches of the refrigerator. - Maico
