Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have used it in my garage (in Las Vegas since early June 2015 & it gets very hot in that space). I'm going to phone the manufacturer for warranty because in my estimation, it does NOT do the job it should. In order to get the temp in both compartments near the acceptable line for storage (below 42 in the frig & zero in the freezer) it has to be set on the maximum cooling & that doesn't quite reach either temp. Now, in December our garage is quite cool & it still has to be kept at maximum cooling. Not good.

In researching the model FFTR1814QW, we were able to identify it is designed to start up in cooler conditions. It is recommend for optimal performance to not install the refrigerator where the temperature will drop below 55°F (13°C) or rise above 110°F (43°C). The compressor will not be able to maintain proper temperatures inside the refrigerator. Thank you for your inquiry. Respectfully
