How do I take out the freezer shelf? null

We removed the black item, but still can't get the wire rack out of the lower holes. We would like it to be in the higher position, if possible. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Mine has a small black casing for lack of a better description on the left side (when looking inside the freezer) of the freezer shelf. I can twist the casing so that the opening is facing up and then slide the shelf up and out.
