• For the most efficient operation, place the freezer where surrounding temperatures will not exceed 110°F (43°C). Temperatures of 32°F (0°C) and below will NOT affect operation. And the freezer is a manual defrost unit! ~ Christy

• Yes and yes only thing customer support told me is not over 110 for heat temp for condition

• If you read the description it tells you its frost free. Also says no temperatures above 110 and lower then 0 and yes you can use in the garage
