Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. Like any refrigeration device it will have a timeout inthe case of a short outage but nowhere near enough to thaw anything. In fact, when my previous unit died it was 4 days before we moved stuff to different freezers. Just try not to open the freezer during the outage to preserve the temperature.
