“my current gas wall oven has an electric light and an electric clock, would it be safe then to assume there is an electrical connection available for the broiler part of this wall oven? Are your installers able to hook up the gas connection?”

Hi, Martha! While a gas range doesn't draw anywhere near the same amount of current as an electric range, a gas oven still requires a little electricity. Yet, the power isn't for heating, but for running the gas igniter and any accessories the unit features, such as a clock/timer and oven light.
