“How much water is it supposed to leave on the bottom tub after cycle is complete? If it is supposed to be totally drained what could be the problem if is not? It is a brand new dishwasher.”

Hello Erick! It is normal operation to see between one to two inches of water in the bottom of the dishwasher FFBD2411NS after the cycle has completed. During the installation backed up water can be cause due to the knock plug still being attached to the food disposer. You may want to check the filter, located in the bottom of the dishwasher, to assure that it is not clogged or too dirty. We hope this information is helpful to you.
