“Does this dishwasher have the ability to wash a "half-load" like others advertise? Does this dishwasher have the ability to run either just the top or bottom, or is it an "all or nothing"? I see several manufacturers now advertise the "half-load" option.”

I run half loads all the time and I sometimes position them on the neat silverware/knife rack on the very top and you have optional time and other settings. The waterfall system eliminates that spinner in the middle of most machines that you have to struggle around when you load them. It allows a big cavity that is easy to load and can handle large items. It has "zone booster" settings that you can use to direct to areas where you put the hard to clean items
