Betty1947, most refrigerators today are designed slightly different internally than they were years ago. The first few glasses may not be very cool in temperature considering the water lines typically run through the bottom of your appliance and then up through the door. These lines, being at the bottom and even around such components as your condenser, will cause the water to warm slightly. You will typically see a decrease in the water temperature once you have dispensed a few glasses; however the coolness may only last for a few glasses as the water reservoirs on refrigerators today are not as big as they once were. Water that sits in the water tubes will be warm, but you usually see an ice dispenser next to your water dispenser to ensure you receive a cooler glass of water. Hope this helps! -Jennifer
