Hi, L. Thanks for your question. Most of our side-by-side fridges performed better inside your home as ambient temps are controlled. If you decide to place this model in your garage, we recommend not to install the refrigerator where the temperature will drop below 55°F (13°C) or rise above 110°F (43°C). The compressor will not be able to maintain proper temperatures inside the refrigerator. Feel free to reconnect with any additional questions about our refrigerators.
