• It holds alot of ice. So much ice when I opened it to take a pic some fell out.

• Hello Frigidaire Shopper! A side mounted ice maker will produce 4 to 4.5 pounds of ice every 24 hours, depending on usage conditions. Ice is produced at a rate of 8 cubes every 75 to 90 minutes. • I really don't know the size of the ice tray but it's a lot. These new ice makers that they have in the door is like really small. This one I'm sure this one is close to1/2 Lbs. bag of ice.
