This model wall oven does not have a visible fan in the back of the unit. This model does not appear to have a feature that circulates the air like the speed bake option other Frigidaire ranges may have. This unit does have a cooling fan, that may be the source of the noise you have read about. I hope this helps! ~Keyanna
