The compressor uses 70 watts while running. (Compressor model number is L35C5L for reference) Startup wattage is tough to measure since it dwindles so quickly, but I typically see my battery monitor show ~300 watts during startup. I would say a 600w+ power inverter would be a safe bet. We run it in our campervan and it's been a great unit. -Tim

Please try again later.Not sure as I threw away booklet but I have this installed in my Kenworth big rig and I'm running it off a 3000 watt power inverter and I can watch tv while microwaving my frozen dinners or noodles without any problems. I also have a 175w inline fuse which has not burnt out as of yet running everything together
