• Yes. It came hinged on the right, and I immediately switched it to the left side for my application. For best results, you'll need a nut-driver or a #2 Phillips screwdriver, although a #1 will work.

• Yes, the body of the fridge is pre-drilled to install hinges on either side, and a plastic covering for the opening side (the side with no hinges). The fridge arrived at my house with the door pre-installed, with hinges on the right. The manual includes instructions for swapping the hinges to the other side. You will need some basic tools, is all.
