• Yes it can be laid on its side for transportation but you’ll will need to put it in its upright position for over one hour before you can plug This is a very good refrigerator for college students or an office space with a little room.

• Hi Fridge123. Yes, you can lay the mini fridge down for transport. A good rule of thumb is that the appliance should be upright for double the time it was horizontal, before you plug it in. ~ Anna
