• It turns off when the room reaches the desired temperature, you can set it to auto and it will run continuously like the window units if you want to.

• Hi Sin! Thank you for reaching out to us. Kindly verify that the unit is set to cool or heat so that it will turn on. The unit will only run if the set point of temperature calls for operation. (Example: If the set point of the unit is 76F and the room where the unit is located is 76F, the temperature set point is satisfied and no heat or cooling is needed.) Verify the unit is set in cooling to be lower than room temperature and in heating to be higher than set temperature. -Christian
