• Yes, I have screens on the windows where I have my units installed. The window kit fits into the slot for the window, so as long as your window slot is inside of the screen slot, you should be fine.

• Hi Jon. The exhaust hose needs a space to pass. So, it is necessary to cut a portion of the mosquito net for the window kit to be installed. -JR
