Can a heat exhaust vent hose be attached? null

the single hose that attaches to the rear of the unit is to exhaust heat. the AC draws its "warm" air through the vents in the rear of the unit. It's kinda like the MAX AC in your car. the AC cools the air inside the car and draws in that cooled air again and cools it again. This unit cools the room air and then draws it back in to cool it even more.

The goal of venting is to remove heat from inside the room. If you don't want your portable AC to cool the targeted space and just want dehumidification, there is no problem in not venting. If you choose to vent, the unit comes with a window venting kit! ~ Christy
