“Do we need to cut sections of the sliding window panel during install, or is it built to fit most standard window sizes? If cutting is involved, are there some tools that are included with the package? We recently moved with limited resources/logistics.”

I had to cut a couple of inches off of my panel. Nothing for that is included but i was able to use a box cutter with a few passes to cut through.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If your lucky the the two pieces slide wider or more narrow. The issue is the vent itself makes to ability to slim down less. Except to cut. I didn't get exact dimensions. But they might be listed on specifications on best buy or manufacturer website. The window I installed in is definitely slimmer than a standard window but I can tell you they are thinner than standard windows.
