• Elements do not get particularly hot, except by conduction back from cookware. Controls for each element include a 7-segment readout that will display H after power is removed if that element got hot. See instruction manual page 11 http://manuals.frigidaire.com/prodinfo_pdf/Memphis/A01704802en.pdf
