• A:Answer Elements do not get particularly hot, except by conduction back from cookware. Controls for each element include a 7-segment readout that will display H after power is removed if that element got hot. • A:Answer Hello, Paul. We appreciate your inquiry. It is advised to make sure the diameter of the canner does not exceed 1 inch beyond the cooking zone markings or burner. It is also recommended to use smaller-diameter canners on electric coil and ceramic glass cooktops and to center canners on the burner grates. We hope this information helps!

• A:Answer Glass cooktops are not scratch resistant. However, cooktop cleaning creams leave a protective finish on the glass that will make cleaning easier when the cooktop is soiled from cooking and help prevent scratches and abrasions. Cookware that has a rough or dirty bottom can mark and scratch the ceramic glass surface. General use should not scratch the cooktop with a little caution. ~ Anna

Q: QuestionI have read some reviews which warn about misaligned magnetic elements with their rubber boots in the wrong place possibly happening during shipping. This might result in only partial use of a burner(s). Is this an ongoing issue. Please let me know.

The model FGIC3066TB has Black Vitroceramic Glass and the model FFIC3026TB has Black Ceramic Glass. Both models are great, and we recommend selecting based on your personal preferences. -Ciara

• A:Answer Sort of, but at least with cast iron, they generate a lot of concentrated heat that might spread if you heat it slow for 20 to 30 minutes, but I haven't had much luck with that yet. Still trying to figure it out.
