    Portable Cooking power when you need it.

    Fried some chicken and fish for Xmas brunch, and preferred to not have my house smelling of oil. So I setup an outdoor station and went to work. The directions are straight forward and it has great temp and power selections, kept my oil around temp even when adding new pieces of food. Overall a solid tool to add to my kitchen arsenal.

    Finicky and Useless

    Does not work! You have to have such a large flat pot for it to actually produce any heat it is basically useless. And with Best Buy now only allowing 15 days for returns I am stuch with this hunk of junk.

    Hi Sylvia, Induction cooktops are the leaders when it comes to even heating. The induction elements are compatible with most stainless steel and cast iron cookware. If a magnet sticks to the bottom of a pot or pan, it is induction friendly. The minimum diameter of the cookware that fit this single burner induction cooktop is 4.7-inch. Make sure that the base of your pan is smooth, sits flat against the glass. Always centre your pan on the cooking zone.
