“can this be used if you have cicular vent already in placed above the cabinet?”

• This cooktop vent is designed to be vented both through the top and the back. Unfortunately, the top out let is designed for a rectangle vent pipe. Check with your seller if there is a conversion exhaust kit available.

• Not sure . We took out the old unit which had the fan in it and replaced it with this unit .
