“I live in an older home (1920's), my windows are rectangular and are 24 inches wide. Will this work with the exhaust ? I saw on the box, "exhaust fits 26.5 - 48 inches).Can this be modified? Can plexi glass be cut to fit exhaust hose?”

I purchased two of these units for a late 1930's home. While the house has replacement windows one of them was smaller than the exhaust panel. I cut the plastic panel easily with a saw and was able to fit it to the window without problem.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The window exhaust bracket has an odd snap on connection . Although it can be done, making a plexiglass bracket may be tricky. It might be easier to cut the end of the plastic sliding bracket that comes with the unit.
