As long as the window isn't too high....the exhaust tube will need to be able to reach the window. FYI - I ended up returning mine due to water leakage after 3 uses. When i called Frigidaire, I was told that I needed to purchase a separate dehumidifier to work with the air conditioner. I've had portable A/C units before and never had to do this. They were not helpful at all!!

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The unit comes with window install parts. It only works with slider windows, not crank out and a vertical slider would be the preferred window type. But it should also work with a side slider just fine. You would not want to just run the hose out the window as it would let in bugs and possibly small rodents.
