Yes you can detach everything and compile it in storage space. However, my unit does not cool the room very well. The room is only 150ft^2 (well within the specs) and it just doesn't cool the whole room. It may be best to get a bigger unit. I am not satisfied with this unit.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, you can definitely store it. All you do it pull the exhaust out of the window and roll it away! Very easy. (This is also helpful in case you decide you want to use it in a different room.) You don't even have to take anything apart at all, though it might be easier to handle if you unscrew the exhaust hose from the main unit first. The only thing that ISN'T easy is that it is very heavy, so be warned if you need to take it anywhere where you can't roll it - you'll probably need someone else to help. This is true of all portable AC's, though.
