Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Thanks for your question, Bethhhhhhhhh! The air conditioner FFPA0822R1 requires an exhaust hose to be installed into a window to remove any hot air. The cold air circulating within the room does not escape from the window due to the window filler kit. Hopefully this information is helpful to you. –Thanks!-
