“Installed this AC few days ago. Had it sit for more than 24 hours, then 2 hours after installation, but it does not seem to cool the room. Is this a defective model that should be returned within the 14 days ? The install in not easy as this is heavy.”

you might just have some settings wrong make sure you hit the mode button on the remote and you set it to cool and also set the lowest temperature to see if its cooling make sure your not in fan only mode or eco mode if you are in eco mode it will shut the unit down when the desired temp is reached. the install is very easy just install the top bar/install the side pleats/install unit in window with included padding and your pretty much done unit is light weight at 52lbs unless your a teenage
