“I bought this unit to replace an old air conditioner that was placed in a cut out area on an outside wall. Since this new unit looks like it has side ventilation I'm wondering if it will be a problem placing it in the same cut out area?”

• If the in-wall mounting blocks the side vents it is not a good idea. The vents are there for a purpose.
