A:AnswerThis wine cooler has a 22" depth. If this will fit, this is a good valued wine cooler. It is not a $500 unit, nor does it compare to a $400 wine cooler, but for the money, it has all the bells and whistles that are required to chill wine properly and nicely. This one has wood shelves. They are cheaper and lighter in respect to the better wine coolers selling for more. The shelves kind of pull out, but they are meant to basically sit still in the cooler. They fit only the regular basic wine bottle. If you have a champagne size bottle or a variation of a regular sized bottle, you will need to remove one shelf and thus lose about 9 bottles of storage space. I do like the unit however. It does what I need it to do. It sits in a closet and keep red and white wine cool.
