A:AnswerHi, Trekgirl.
Thank you for stopping by with your inquiry.
For optimal performance, we recommend you install the wine cooler where the ambient temperature is between 70 and 78 degrees Fahrenheit. Also, allow space around the unit for good air circulation; leave a 2-inch space on the back and sides of the wine cooler for adequate circulation.
Hope this helps.

A:AnswerYou need to angle the shelf slightly as you attempt to remove it, as they hook into the back somewhere. I just push down lightly on the front of the rack and use my fingers, underneath the rack, to lift the middle/back up as best I can. This provides enough leverage to slide the rack out.
A:AnswerHello Pete! The dimensions of the wine cooler compartments are 17-3/4 inches wide, 11-1/2 inches high, and 17 inches deep for the upper compartment. The lower compartment is 17-3/4 inches wide, 14 inches high, and 17 inches deep. We hope that this information is helpful to you. –Thanks!-
A:AnswerYes you can, but it is not really designed for anything other than wine storage. I would go for a beverages fridge over a wine cooler if you want to store both wine and other beverages. Only issue then is that your wine will be cooled below ideal temperatures for wine storage.
A:AnswerHi Tony. The dB rating is not readily available on this model wine cooler. However, you should find this wine cooler to be a quiet addition to your home. ~ Anna
A:AnswerThe keys were included in a bag with the hex wrench that is used to switch the direction of door opening. The "key" is just a hex drive, no tumblers.
A:AnswerHello Frigidaire Shopper! The wine cooler FFWC38B2RS will produce heat during operation as the internal components work to keep the inside cool. We hope this information is helpful to your shopping experience. –Thanks!-
A:AnswerI have had my unit for almost 3 months and it has been performing well. Before I loaded it with wine I placed a digital thermometer probe inside of the unit and set the temp at 55 degrees in both units and let the unit run for 2 days and the temp stayed pretty constant during the whole period. It would drop 1-2 degrees but quickly return to the set temperature. The unit cycled on very seldom to keep the temp constant.
