The gas connection is located on the back of the range, lower right. The flex gas line is flexible, so if the gas connection is within 4 feet, you should be fine. You can view/download the installation manual herre: http://manuals.frigidaire.com/prodinfo_pdf/Springfield/316903000.pdf
