Q: QuestionWhere does the broiler vent and will it burn the back of the range plate?
Asked by mike.
- A:Answer Hi Mike! Thank you for your inquiry. In researching we were able to see the oven door has vents located on the front and there is a vent located under the control panel. The ventilation is to allow the heat to escape the range, so that it doesn’t over heat. Also, when cleaning over the vents, you want to be careful to not allow moisture to go into the vents. We hope this helps! -Thanks!-

Q: QuestionWhat size of gas line (1/2" or 3/4") is required for this range& oven? I am having a gas line run (extended) and I am unsure of what size pipe is needed coming into this appliance.
Asked by BREECHAY.
- A:Answer This range might only require 1/2" but that's 100% assuming you have enough pressure at the point where the short 1/2" flex hose connects from your wall (line) to the range. This doesn't mean that your entire line can be 1/2". The longer the line is from your gas meter outside, the more pressure it takes to get the gas to your range. For illustration purposes if you were running a gas line 25-miles, a 1/2" pipe would _obviously_ not be enough - as it loses pressure along the way. If your outside gas meter is like 5-10 feet from where your range will be, then a 1/2" line the entire route would be plenty. But if you're running a line from the other side of your house 150' away going up into the attic then back down, you could be talking 200' of line before you get to that 1/2" connector for the range's flex-hose. In this case you'd be better off running a 3/4" pipe/line for that long distance, then step it down to a 1/2" connector right at the end with a 3/4-1/2" reducer.
