Also, Frigidaire says all of its ranges have lights to indicate that a burner is on and/or still hot. However, one of the big box web sites has a specification that says the range lacks these lights.”

I just purchased this stove in Dec of 2014. there is a light on the stove to tell you the cook top is hot. it is on the control panel on the left side. hope this helps

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I purchased the range mid September 2014; it was not listed as discontinued then. There is one light that warns of a hot spot and another that shows one (or more) of the four regular burners is on. The warmer ring has its own light. To determine which one is on or still hot; you have to hold your hand near the surface. If you turned more than one on, look at the knobs too.
