• It is very quiet. We have ours in a very small living room. The couch is right next to the window unit and we didn't have to make any adjustments on the television volume at all.

• It is a lot quieter than the old unit. The one I purchased last year for the other room, which is larger, is quiet too.

• On low fan setting it is fairly quiet. On high fan setting it is noisy. Not very good for bedroom sleeping.

• I am a light sleeper cannot hear any noises or sleep with any lights on and this ac gives me none of those problems, I love it, and sleep comfortable ! (Not loud)
