“How long does it take to initially cool the room down, had it goin for an hour and the room is actually hotter now, easily hooked everything up right , unit is close to the window, and it's not cool, no where near 60*, for $550 seems to be not worth it”

1 - How large is the room? 2 - 60° f is hard for most ac units to do unless it’s a small area and not that hot outside. 3 - our ac does a great job at cooling a large bedroom when we open the door it will help cool the main floor of our apartment which is 500sq ft and we are on the 2nd floor. The higher you are the more btu’s You need for cooling
