- Answer Hi, Marina! Model FGRC124WAE/1 was released this year, and is an updated version of FGRC1244T1. The newer model is more energy efficient and will use R32 refrigerant instead of R410a. ~Ashton

- Answer No, it is one whole unit. If the hole in your wall will accommodate it, you should be fine.
