Yes, but you are not supposed to. This and most modern AC units are designed to fling water collected into the pan onto the AC condenser. This is to increase cooling efficiency and save some energy. In my experience, it can also be quite noisy. That said, you can drill a hole in the pan, provided you know where to drill. You can also put absorbent material at the back of the unit laying into the collection pan to allow water to wick into it and drip out the back of the unit. However, you simply aren't supposed to with this kind of unit, and I'm sure it could void your warranty as well. After warranty, I don't think it will actually harm the unit if you do wish to drain the water, it might make it a little less efficient, but probably a lot quieter.
