“Does the unit leak water or does it evaporate the water?”

• It must evaporate most. I've owned them for years and never see much water coming out of them. They do need to tilt a little outward or water could build up on the bottom of he unit. It has never been an issue, except when removing them there has rarely been a little water that spills on the floor. It cold get there from rain or condensation.

• No leak on the inside,not sure about the outside

• It will leak water from a drain hole towards the bottom rear of the unit. The water helps the ac cool more efficiently. When not in use the elements help evaporate the leftover water.
