• Hi KM, Unit model FAD704DWD does include a continuous drain feature with which you can connect a garden hose to the drain connector. Direct the hose toward the drain, making sure that there are no kinks that will stop the water flowing. This will allow the unit to drain directly where designated versus requiring you to manually emptying the drain. Thank you.

• Yes it does. You can put a short garden like hose on this. Works great!

• yes, that's how I use it. I've attached a 30 foot hose from the unit to the sump pump.
