I know this is a late answer, but for me this often happens when the hose grows gunk or slime inside over time. It's annoying but what I do is take the hose outside (make sure to drain water out of the drain end first!) and attach it to the high power outside faucet. This takes care of the gunk in a jiffy. Unfortunately I have to keep checking periodically.
