• The instructions say: ' The hose can be extended from its original length of 15" up to 59", but it is the best to keep the length to the minimum required. Also make sure that the hose doesn't have any sharp bends or snags.' Sorry, I don't know about whether you can get a coupler with extra hose. But I can guess that would make it way less efficient. See, the hose is not super-insulated, and feels quite warm, so the more hose length you have, the more heat iI would think would be going back into the room from the hose, and not making it out the window.
