Hi PS! Thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention. After setting the temperature, it can take up to 24 hours for the temperature to stabilize. If it does not, please reach out to us directly or your retailer at your convenience. -CiCi
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Once you set the desired temp the unit will return to the actual temp inside the unit and then gradually start to lowering down. If after lets say an hour or two still reading the 68 and didn't star to go down it's a faulty unit. Do not forget to give enough clearance between the back of the unit and the wall.
