We cannot recommend that laundry appliances model FAQE7001LW and GLTF1670AS are stacked as the Affinity models are only compatible for stacking with other Affinity models. Due to specification differences between these two specific models you presented, it would be unsafe for you to stack. Model FAQE7001LW is compatible for stacking with model FAFW3801LW. QuestionCan this dryer be vented from the side?Rather than venting the dryer out the back, can it be vented from either side?

- Answer NO, unless you redirect the venting and this will need a different internal kit.

- Answer The dryer can be vented to the side with the assistance of a 90 degree elbow. You will have to purchase this elbow separately. It is not recommended to have more than to 2 bends in any venting installation. Thank you, Frigidaire

QuestionIs the Frigidaire Dryer FAQE7001LW stackable with Frigidaire washer FAFW3801LW?I'm looking to buy a stackable washer and dryer set. The front-load Frigidaire washer FAFW3801LW is stackable with FAQE7001LW according to other sites. But I don't see that information here. Are they stackable? If yes, how much is the stacking kit?

- Answer Yes and you can purchase the stacking kit although you would need to be quite tall to reach the dryer controls.
