• It sure is!! We accidentally turned all sounds off ... you Can even configure it to display nothing, not even the time.

• The alert can be High, Med, Low or Off. It's adjustable in user preferences.

• This will do it - just figured that out the other day when we had to reset clock for a power outage. It has volume levels and a mute setting as well.

• If you go under "User Pref" there are settings for the sound.
