“I need to replace a FGMV174KFB. Will this FGMV176NTF be a suitable replacement? The specs appear to be the same. What's different other than the "Frigidaire Gallery" emblem is missing off of the FGMV176NTF?”

This question is for: Frigidaire - Gallery 1.7 Cu. Ft. Over-the-Range Microwave with Sensor Cooking - Stainless steel

Despite one answer saying it wouldn't fit, I went ahead with the installation anyway. The installer took about 30 minutes for the entire installation and had zero issues. So it is a suitable replacement.

It can, the difference, height measurements are higher in back going lower to front. Will to modify existing holes on top of cabinet to match wall bracket holding microwave. Micowave sits lower than existing one. USE WALL TEMPLATE!!!

Hi JimD! In researching, I was able to see that the dimensions are not the same and it may not fit in the space of your current microwave. I hope this helps! -Thanks!-
